Our hosts were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The villa is lovely. It has great amenities, a large pool with plenty of garden furniture and shaded areas. We spent many hours playing volley ball and ping pong, the games room is great fun. Outside is a lovely bar area with fridge, BBQ and seating, this was highly enjoyable and convenient. The patio near the villa has a lovely outside table for group evening meals. The kitchen is well equipped, two fridge freezer and dishwashers were handy when catering for a large group. We highly recommend ordering an online shop from Mercadona supermarket for arrival, it was quick and easy. The supermarket itself in town is also highly recommended. Our hosts kindly arranged catering for us at the villa for a very reasonable price. The food was excellent and we would definitely recommend the tapas dishes and paying a very small fee for service and cleaning. Towels and beach towels are provided and the air con charge is very reasonable and the bill at the end was very low. We visited the lovely town of Cordoba and Castillo Almodóvar del Rio, both are accessible by car or train and are definitely worth a visit, especially Game of Thrones fans as they are the filing locations of Volantis and Highgarden. Arrive at the castle before 11 to park at the entrance, there is parking at the bottom of the hill but the walk would be long and steep. The views are spectacular. We visited Seville on the last day, again by car. The Real Alcázar de Sevilla is beautiful and worth a visit, it’s another filming location of game of thrones. The cathedral and Plaza de Espana are stunning. The villa is in a great location to visit all of these beautiful sights. Would definitely return.

We were a large group of five families with teenage children looking for somewhere we could chill out and have some fun. The Cortija gave us exactly this. Other than one visit to Seville city, which I would recommend, we were able to enjoy the space, facilities and pool area that the Cortija offered. Theresa and Roger our host were very helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this property and look forward to revisiting!

From even before we arrived at the villa, Theresa was nothing but welcoming and helpful. They could not do enough to make us feel at home and well informed of villa amenities and things to do in the surrounding local area. The villa was clean and well kept and a fantastic place for a family holiday. The outdoor area and pool was fantastic and kept everyone entertained 24/7 - both children and adults. The games room provided endless entertainment in the evenings as well as a selection of books and games for all ages. Being within driving distance of Lora Del Rio and Seville your choice of daytime activities is endless. The surrounding scenery is stunning and the orange fields are a good bonus. Would definitely recommend!
