We stayed at Can Xargay for a week on the end of August 2019. We were welcomed by Raquel, who welcomed us, and showed us the villa. On the property there is a big book with lots of ideas for traveling the area- which we used. The house is full with everything we could think of, it was just perfect for our needs. We were traveling with 4 kids (aged 1 to 5), and went to a few towns in Costa Brava's area. The city of Mata is just near Banyoles, which is a lovely town with a big lake, who we really liked spending time around it- cycling, on boat, swimming or in a restaurant.

Dear Raquel, Upon our return to Denmark, we would like to say thank your very much to you and your entire Family for making our Holidays a great success. First, it is a very nice place you have and we enjoyed staying there for two weeks. Next, we, 17 people between 17 and 84 years of age really had a great time especially because you have been very helpful from the very beginning answering a lot of questions and by helping with booking a bus to collect us at the airport at midnight and arrange a bus and tickets for the Sagrada Familia Cathedral visit in Barcelona as well as all the advises and help with other activities. Our young people were very happy for your advise for their tracking tours. We did enjoyed our stay at your place and wish to thank you and your Family so much for your hospitality and helpfulness during our stay and we wish you all the best for the future. The owners of this property were especially attentive to our needs and requests. As this was our first time using Home Away, this high level of service gave us much confidence. The house is well appointed and plenty of room for our group of 12. The games room was a great hit as was the lovely swimming pool. Local knowledge and advice on places to visits, where to get coffee and cake and help organising a birthday cake to be made was so helpful. It is a short walk to local amenities and the beautiful lake and public transport is good, which means a car is not absolutely necessary. We would highly recommend this property.

We have all had a wonderful holiday in superb accommodation. The villa is very well appointed and comfortable. Raquel and family have been extremely helpful in organizing various transports for us. The Catalan meal they did for us was fantastic which all the adults enjoyed tremendously. Thank you so much.
