Nuevo Portil is central between the city of Seville and Faro airport in Portugal. The beaches are particularly stunning on this stretch of coast and there are many quality restaurants along the beach front with spectacular views. El Portil is a 10 minute walk away and there are many supermarkets, shops, cafes and restaurants. The region has over 300 days of sunshine per year. The vast beaches guarantee that you will be able to find a quiet spot to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. If you prefer you can take a picnic lunch to the dunes. There are showers available on most of the beaches and lifeguards in the busier areas
There are excellent bars, restaurants and cafes within a short distance. Not surprisingly, there are some particularly good fish restaurants all serving the freshest fish at reasonable prices. The town of Ayamonte on the border of Portugal is worth a visit, with winding streets and a great selection of shops. bars restaurants and marina. Try the menu del dia for a good lunch at good value. The nearest airports to the area are Faro and Seville, both approx 50 mins away by car. Airlines such as Jet2, Easyjet and Monarch all offer regular low budget flights to Faro.
The course at Nuevo Portil is par 71 and lessons are available. Other courses on this coast are relatively quiet and include Islantilla, Isla Canela, El Rompido, and Bellavista.

The house is really well located a few steps from the pool. The garden backing onto the golf course is very peaceful. We had the pool to ourselves most mornings and it was never crowded. The house has everything you need (although you need to bring pool/beach towels). A few nice restaurants within walking distance and a wider selection just 5 minutes drive away.

Really nice place to stay at. My son loved the pool. The house is well presented and has 3 good sized bedrooms with well appointed bathrooms. Kitchen is all good with a nice sized fridge. I like the underground parking to keep the car cool during the day when parked. there is a great little train to take you out to the local nightlife in the evening. The owner is brilliantly efficient and communicative and I would have no hesitation in recommending or returning.

Een leuke vakantiewoning op loopafstand van winkeltjes, restaurantjes en zee. In alle kamers is airco. Fijne patio waar je heerlijk in de schaduw danwel in de zon kunt zitten. En wifi en dvd's wat voor onze puber leuk was. Het plaatsje is vooral gericht op spaanse toeristen. Maar dat vonden wij wel leuk. Altijd spannend wat je te eten krijgt als je tapas bestelt van een spaanse menukaart :-) Verwacht echter geen Benidorm achtige taferelen. Een disco hebben wij er niet gezien. De kilometerslange stranden in de omgeving zijn geweldig. Tip: shopping in Huelva en de nagebouwde schepen van Columbus in Huelva. het Fiesta Colombinas in de eerste week van augustus, eveneens in Huelva vonden wij ontzettend leuk.
