We very much enjoyed our stay here in September. Frank was very welcoming and informative, and the chocolates and wine were a nice touch. The property is lovely, although the cool and showery weather meant we were unable to take advantage of the pool. Visits to Segovia, Buitrago, Toledo, El Escorial, Pedraza and Madrid all within easy travelling and very worth while. An excellent base for the area.

Nice place - owner nice, accessible, and responsive. Clean - well kept. As advertized - however the pool was not quite ready. I had been building it up - partially my fault. Good place to decompress after a long trip. If you like a nice place - a authentic experience - this is for you.

Dear Tim, first of all thank you and your family for visiting us. It was a real pleasure to have you in Villa Carmen. End of May is still rather early for swimming. We had a particularly long winter and cold spring this year. Night temperatures during your stay were still around 5ºC (41ºF) and day temperatures were barely reaching the 20ºC (68ºF). For our future guests, please be aware that the guaranteed swimming season (as in most of Spain) is from mid June till end of September. Normally the swimming pool in Villa Carmen will be open from the beginning of June till mid October. If the weather allows this, the swimming pool will be open for a longer period of time. In case of doubts, we recommend our guests that also for other seasonal sports and activities (like skiing in the nearby mountains), that you check with us first.

Mooi huis, zeker smaakvol in gericht, fijn zwembad. Leuke lokatie in de bergen in de bourg van Madrid wat de mogelijkheid heeft zowel de stad als de nature te bezoeken naast lek mer aan het zwembad te liggen

Fijn, comfortabel huis om met meerdere mensen te verblijven. Mooie omgeving dicht bij Madrid leuke golfbanen op ca 1 uur rijden.
